Abstract
In this study we wanted to analyse how additive manufacturing could bring benefit to the treatment of
intracranial aneurysms. To be able to do so we segmented Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) images,
specifically we used images from a Time-Of-Flight (TOF) 3D sequence.
Once we obtained the virtual three-dimensional model from the diagnostic images, we proceeded to create a physical model through 3D-printing that was later used by the surgeon for a preoperative planning.
