Abstract

The aim of this national survey is to analyse how many and which are the main disorders treated by the Developmental Neuropsychomotricity Therapist in the age of development. The analysis stems from the need to demonstrate the multiple potentialities and areas of intervention of the Developmental Neuropsychomotricity Therapist on the Italian national territory, as his distinctive role in the treatment of all disorders of the developmental age in the presence of any diagnosis is very often overlooked. Therefore, a narrative review of the scientific literature was conducted and a computerised and anonymous questionnaire was administered on the role of the Developmental Neuropsychomotricity Therapist in the fields of application of the professional profile, as defined by Ministerial Decree no. 56 of 17 January 1997.
