Abstract

The current global COVID-19 pandemic is related to an acute respiratory disease caused by a new coronavirus
(SARS-CoV-2), highly contagious and whose evolution is still poorly understood (Kamel Boulos, 2020).
The high-resolution Computed Tomography (HRCT) is the most accurate technique for identifying pathogenetic
finding of interstitial pneumonia. Standardized HRCT examination in COVID patients binds quantitative evaluation
of healthy lung tissue performed in post-processing. In this study we present a valid tool for the Radiologist the
diagnosis of Covid-19 diagnosis, an essential support in the evaluation of emergency symptomatic patients with
negative NAAT, or asymptomatic patients with negative NAAT who have come into contact with positive one, in fact
asymptomatic patients can also have lung lesions on CT imaging (Chung M, 2020).
